Santorini Cafe

If You Are Ever in Austin, Eat at Santorini Cafe

Let me start off by saying that I am by NO way a food blogger or restaurant blogger/reviewer.  When we go somewhere and receive extraordinary service, I like to give those that deserve it some praise.  So, here goes.
My mother-in-law's birthday was last week, and to celebrate, we took her out to eat.  She was in the mood for Greek food and she chose a little place called Santorini Cafe.  None of us had eaten there before, but we were all excited to try this "new to us" local eatery.

We were greeted by a cute cottage looking building, with a wide porch covered with blue turf that looks like the Aegean Sea.  Inside is just as cute and inviting as it is outside.  They have family friendly atmosphere, yet it could also be romantic if you wanted.  There was even a man playing a bouzouki, which added the the Greek authenticity.

The food was wonderful, however, it was just a fraction of what made this place amazing.  The service here was like none other!!  We never had an empty glass.  They treated my daughter like she was their own granddaughter.  These people made you feel like family.  This turned out to be one of the best places we have eaten at in a long time!  We will definitely be returning to dine here in the future!
